Our Approach
Our Vision is to bring joy, happiness, and possibly a little escape each time we play. Whether its at a local club, a wedding, corporate event – we play songs that will engage the audience. We believe people want to either sing along, dance, or participate in another way each time they see a band.
reSOUL is a dance / party band based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Our song list has no boundaries – we play mostly dance, rock and country tunes (and special requests), dating from the 70’s (even disco) to Michael Jackson to Bruno Mars to Chaka Khan to Journey to Jimi Hendrix!
If you own a venue and book us, we realize our job is to help make your evening successful. We play fun music that will keep people engaged. And if people are engaged, they will remain at your establishment, and your proceeds will increase.
If you are about to enjoy the most significant day in your life, we will help ensure your wedding reception is memorable. In addition to performing, we can also provide emcee or DJ services when the time is right. We work with you, playing (and/or learning) the songs you want to make your special day a success. And if you want to sing to your spouse on your special day, we will rehearse with you to bring that memory he or she will never forget!
Our Story
Our band, for the most part, has played together in different groups over the past 5 years. Many of our members first met in Pamoja, a jazz/funk band. Although based in Wilmington, North Carolina we have musicians from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to the Tidewater, Virginia area perform with us. We can configure as a four, five, or six piece band based upon your preferences. As for quality – one vocalist has released singles on the west coast and in London. Our guitarist got a call back from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and has performed for years nationally. He even was a headliner at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City in the 90’s.
